Slope formula - y = mx + b

6x + 2y = 10

subtract x

2y = 10 - 6x

divide all by 2

y = 5 - 3x

y = -3x + 5

5 is the y-intercept, and -3x is the slope

hope this helps :)

Slope intercept form: y=mx+b
divide equation by 2
3x+y=10
Subtract 3x
Y = -3x + 10
Slope is -3, y intercept is 10
