y = 3x + 2

Explanation:

y=mx+b is slope intercept form

to find slope (m):

y2-y1/x2-x1 = 11-8/3-2 = 3

your slope is 3 so 3x

to find the y-intercept (b):

plug in y and x from either of the two points

(2,8)... 8=3(2)+b and solve for b which equals 2

so final equation is y=3x+2
