6. The doctor orders you to give a toddler

Amoxil 10mg/cc. The toddler weighs 20 lbs.
The dosage is 10mg/kg. How much would
you give the toddler?

So I’m not a hundred percent sure, but I think 90mg.

If the child weights 20lbs then that means that they weight 9 kg. It says up top that every kg can be given 10 mg. (10mg/kg)
That means that if the child weighs 9 kg, then the child can have up to 90mg of medicine for his body weight. 10 mg for every kg.
