This is a pretty simple concept.

What it wants you to do is to input those values inside the parentheses(9 or -2) into those equations for x. Then, you will have to add those values that you get.

If you didn't understand, watch and learn!


for x=9\\f(9)=-5(9)-14\\f(9)=-59\\

Now try to do that for the second equation, but this time, have x as -2.

(I also can't solve the last one because I can't make sense of the equation. What is 02?)
