Obesity is on the rise in the United States due to the availability of fast food all around us which is quick for our busy American lives and is often cheaper than healthier food choices in the grocery store.

Obesity may be on the rise in the United States because fast foods or food with high amounts of fat and calories tends to be cheaper then so called healthy foods such as salads and vegetables. As that’s the case people have the idea to chose the cheaper option. Another reason is because most people’s tastebuds have more of a liking to “fatty foods” then healthier options.
