Explanation:

you do the rise over run, so count how many boxes up it is from one point to the next, then put that over how many boxes to the right it is, and simplify.

ex: 1/1 = 1, 2/2 = 1, 3/3 = 1, etc.

the slope is 1 :) but the equation is y= 1x + 1
