rest he borrowed from his friend. If Albert got $3.83 in change from the cashier, how much did he
borrow from his friend to pay for all the items?

Answer:

albert borrowed $20 from his friend.

Explanation:

you first add all of the items together

$31.17 + $12.25 + $12.75 = $56.17

then you subtract $40 from the result

$56.17 - $40 = 16.17

and add the $3.83

$16.17 + $3.83 = $20
