Answer: k = 5

(2x + 3)(x + k)

= 2x.x +2x.k + 3x + 3k

= 2x² + x(2k + 3) + 3k

because (2x + 3)(x + k) is 2x^2 + 13x + 15

=> 3k = 15

2k + 3 = 10

=> k = 5
