Answer:

First no. = 27

Second no. = 29

Third no. = 31

Explanation:

First no. = a (smallest no.)

Second no. = a + 2

Third no. = a + 4 ( largest no.)

Given,

3a - 3 + 2(a + 4) = 140

3a - 3 + 2a + 8 = 140

(3a + 2a) + (-3 + 8) = 140

5a + 5 = 140

5a = 140 - 5

5a = 135

a = 135/5

a = 27

First no. = a = 27

Second no. = a + 2 = 29

Third no. = a + 4 = 31
