Angle 3 = 23 degrees Angle 8 = 157 degrees

Explanation:

Since Angle 2 and Angle 3 are vertical angles, they have the same value.

As you see for Angle 8, Angle 8 is vertical angles with Angle 5.

Angle 5 corresponds with Angle 1 which is the same value since these lines are parallel.

Angle 1 and Angle 2 added together will have a sum of 180.

So substitute Angle 5 for Angle 1.

Angle 5 + 23 =180

Angle 5 = 157 degrees

And we know Angle 5 = Angle 8

So Angle 8 = 157 degrees.
