Michael is 4 years younger than twice his cousin, Damien’s age. The sum of their ages is 46. How old is Damien?

Let x = The age of Michael
Let 2x-3 = The age of Michaels cousin
X+2x-3=46
x=16+1/3
X = 49 years

I think that’s the answer I’m not 100% sure though
