Please help is this a solution or inequality 5-x<8;x=-3

This is an inequality. Refer to the char below.

The two expressions we have is ‘5 - x’ and ‘8’. If X is equal to three, then we get ‘5 - 3’ and ‘8’. This comes out to 2 > 8.
