One way that kids tell stories is by acting out the roles of different people and events. For example, they can pretend to be a pirate, a queen, or someone in the community, such as a police officer. What kind of acting out of roles have you done? Use the Notebook tool () to describe a time in your life when you role-played or pretended to be someone else. How did it feel? What story did you put on? Was it a play or part of a game? How did you indicate a change in scenery? Were there many different characters? What was your favorite part?

When I was little I did a class play about superhero’s vs. villains. I was a superhero it felt empowering. I put on a cape to be more of a superhero. One of my lines indicated a mood change feeling like we were about to fail but we never gave up against the villains. Their were many different characters including the different civilians, villains, and superheroes. My favorite part was the end when we all made up and their was peace.

if you’d like you can use this as an example or change it up a bit if you have to have a nice day!!
