first, count up how many students there are in total. there are 15
then, count how many are shorter than 66 inches. 6 of the students are shorter than 66 inches.
now, to find the percentage, divide the number of students shorter than 66 inches by the total number of students and multiply by 100
6/15 = 0.4 * 100 = 40%
