for the dotted line the equation is

y = (1/3)x + 2

the equation that isnt a dotted lines equation is

y = -2x + 2

to find out which way the line is shaded we must plug in points

an easy way to do this is to start by putting 0, 0 into the equation

for the first one

0 ? 0 + 2

0 ? 2

the answer is <

because the line is dotted that means that the equation is just the less than symbol

then we can also plug in 0, 0 for the next equation

0 ? 2

the answer is <=

this is because the line is not dotted

so the 2 equations are
