Answer:

(6,-2.5)

Explanation:

The formula for the midpoint between two points is:

((x_(1) + x_(2))/(2),(y_(1)+y_(2))/(2))

Now we substitute

We have than (9, -1) is
(x_(1), y_(1)) and (3, - 4) is
(x_(2), y_(2))

So:

(((9) + (3))/(2),((-1)+(-4))/(2))\\\\(-1) + (-4) = -5\\9 + 3 = 12\\

So, we have:

((12)/(2), (-5)/(2))\\\\12 / 2 = 6\\-5 / 2 = -2.5\\\\(6, -2.5)

(6,-2.5)

I can do a graphic explanation if you want.
