If 30 m of wire weigh 8 Kg, what will 40 m of the same kind of wire weigh? show explanation​

Answer:

10 2/3 or 10.66

Explanation

30/8 = 40/x

cross multiply:

30x/30 = 320/30

30 and 30 cancel out so you're just left with "x"

divide 320/30 = 10.66

x= 10.66 or 10 2/3
