Use distributive property on both sides

3(x+4)=3(x-5)

3(x)+3(4)=3(x)-3(5)

3x+12=3x-15

Subtract 3x from both sides

12=15.

So because this is a false statement the equation has no solution. So your answer is no solution. Hope this helps!!!
