It is clear that:

  • side 10 of figure A has the image side of 12.5 in figure B.

which can be obtained by multiplying 10 with 1.25

i.e.

  • 10*1.25=12.5

so the side 16 of figure A must have to be multiplied by 1.25 to get the image the figure B.

so

  • 16*1.25=20

Therefore, the value of x = 20.
