Slope:(y^(2)-y^(1) )/(x^(2)-x^(1) )=(12-2)/(2-7)=(10)/(-5)=-2


y-intercept:y-y_(1)=m(x-x_(1) ) \\y-2=-2(x-7)\\y-2=-2x+14\\

Add 2 to both sides;

y = -2x + 16
