Explanation:

Part A: dilation factor of 3 means you will multiply the given coordinates by 3 so

is given A(-2, 2) and B( 3, 2) and this will become A'(-2*3, 2*3) and B'( 3*3, 2*3)

A'(-6, 6) and B'( 9, 6)

Part B: dilation factor of
(1)/(2) you multiply thhe coordinates by this number so

A(-2, 2) and B( 3, 2) will become D( -2*(1/2), 2*(1/2)) and C( 3*(1/2), 2*(1/2))

D( -1, 1) and C( 3/2, 1)
