Well at the time he was considered a terrorist by white supremacists and now he is considered a hero. I imagine that because of what he'd done other minority groups began to see that they have a chance to live equally with the same treatment as whites here in America. Thats not even mentioning about how his example could have shown other countries a better way. In South Africa there was a leader, Nelson Mendella. Before he became president there was sever segrigation of white people, like what we have here in America. Him and MLK Jr. never met but they fought for the same thing at the same time.
