There are 3 different types of linear equations.

There is standard form: Ax+By=C

Point-slope form: y-y1=m(x-x1)

And slope-intercept form: y=mx+b

Answer:

So what we need to do to write the equation is to know our slope or rate of change and to know our initial value or where the line is touching the y axis the y intercept.
