If the sector wasn't there, the area would be that of a circle. The formula for a circle = pi * r^2

But the sector is there and so you have to account for it.

Area sector = (60/360) * pi * 11^2

Area sector = 1/6 * pi * 121

1/6 of 121 = 20.17

Area of sector = 20.17 pi square cm
