Explanation:

the slope is the ratio "y coordinate difference / x coordinate difference".

so,

(2 - 6) / (x - 2) = 4/7

-4 / (x - 2) = 4/7

-1 / (x - 2) = 1/7

-1 / (x - 2) = 1 / -(x - 2) = 1/7

-(x - 2) = 7

-x + 2 = 7

-x = 5

x = -5

so, the point is (-5, 2)
