10 and 12

Explanation:

Let the smallest number = 2x

Then the larger number is 2x + 2

2x + 2x + 2 = 2x + 2 + 10 Subtract 2x + 2 from both sides

2x = 10 Divide by 2

x = 5

The smaller number is 2x = 2 * 5 = 10

The larger number is 2x + 2 = 12
