Length of the side of a square is 18 sqrt(2)

Explanation:

a and b are the sides of square and c is the diagonal.

a^2+b^2=c^2

a^2+b^2= 36^2

As all sides are equal we can take b=a

2a^2=36^2

a^2= (36×36)/2

a^2 = 18×36 = 2×9×9×4

Taking squareroot on both sides we get

a= sqrt(2×9×9×2×2)

a=18 sqrt(2)
