1st step get the equations in y=mx+b

3y = -2x + 18

(÷ each side by 3)

y = -2/3x + 6

6x + 9y = 18

(subract 6x to get it to the other side)

9y = -6x + 18

(÷ both sides by 9)

y = -6/9x + 2

(simplify -6/9)

y = -2/3x +2

2nd step look at the equations

y = -2/3x + 6 and y = -2/3x +2

The lines are at different places and will never touch, having same slope theres never a possibility they would look something like this \\
