The average cost in dollars of producing x units of golf clubs is C(x)=x^2-18x+140. Determine the number of golf clubs to produce each hour to keep the cost below $75 per club

Answer:

At least 6

Explanation:

I did guess and check for the formula. I first started with 5 golf balls

C(x)=5^2-18*5+141

C(x)=76 too high

Then I tried 6

C(x)=6^2-18*6+141

C(x) = 69

It would have to be 6 because you need a whole number of golf balls and 5 made the cost too high
