A bird is flying at an initial velocity of 5m/s. It flaps its wings harder, causing it to

accelerate forward at 2m/s/s. At this rate, how long would it take for the bird to fly a total
of 25m?

Answer:

7.32 s

Step-by-step explanation:

2ad = Vf^2 - Vi^2

2(2)(25) = Vf^- (5)^2

Solve for Vf = 8.66 m/s

t=a(Vf-Vi)

t= 2(8.66-5) =7.32 s
