let the point (8,8) and (12,12) be (
x_(1),
y_(1)) and (
x_(2) , y_(2))

slope of point(
m_(1))=
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2) -x_(1) )

=(12-8)/(12-8)

=1

let the slope of perpendicular line to given point be
m_(2)

now ,


m_(1) m_(2)=-1

so
m_(2)=-1
