External conflict is when there are problems happening outside of the person, while internal is where your emotions and everything you’re feeling is happening on the inside. One example of internal conflict, is Stranger Things’ Eleven. She underwent many types of mental problems such as flashbacks from her father, and scenes of different events that went on. They tortured her mental state. One example of external conflict is Karate Kids’ Daniel Larusso. He was hurt mentally and physically by a group of boys that knew karate. He was scared and had to learn how to defend himself.
