slope of f(x) remember that m=rise /run and see how you get from point (0,0) to (1,3) for example

m= rise 3/ run 1= 3

slope of g(x) you find by comparing it to y=mx+b wher m is slope and b is intercept so g(x) slope is m = 7

Slope of f(x) is 3 and slope of g(x) is 7 so g(x) go upward faster.

B.

again compare g(x) =7x+2 with y=mx+b where b is the y-intercept

g(x) has y-intercept at (0,2)

we can see from the table that at x=0 the y-intecept is 0

f(x) has y-intercept at (0, 0)

g(x) has a greater y-intercept point
