PART B: y=mx +b is slope intercept form of linear equation where m=slope and b =y intercept

slope for line for function f(x) =-5-(-1) / -1-0 =-5+1/-1=-4/-1=4

y = 4x+b

3=4(1)+b

3=4+b

-1 =b

y=4x-1

f(x)=4x-1 slope = 4

g(x)=2x -7 slope = 2

b) y intercept for f(x) is -1

and g(x) is -7

so f(x) is having greater y intercept
