Answer: y = - 3x - 1
Explanation: To find the slope you go down 6 and 2 to the right from the higher point. The slope - 6/2 simplifies to - 3.
To find the y-intercept in the answer you need to do y - 2 = - 3 (x + 1), which equals y = - 3x - 1
