area= l x b

= 25 × 25

= 625

Explanation:

Applying Heron's Formula to find the area of ΔPSR :

⇒ s = 98/2 = 49

⇒ s - a = 49 - 25 = 24

⇒ s - b = 49 - 25 = 24

⇒ s - c = 49 - 48 = 1

⇒ Area = √49 × 24 × 24 × 1

⇒ Area = 7 × 24

⇒ Area = 168 cm²

But, ΔPSR = ΔPQR (same side lengths).

⇒ Area (PQRS) = Area (PSR) + Area (PQR)

⇒ Area (PQRS) = 2 × Area (PSR)

⇒ Area (PQRS) = 2 × 168

⇒ Area (PQRS) = 336 cm²
