Write the sum of -5x - 7y + 6 and -4 + 3x in standard form.

first, you need to know what standard form is

Ax + By = C

which is basically

number(x) + number(y) = number

to put it simply..

so now we can evaluate the expression (the random mess they gave us)

-5x - 7y + 6 and -4 + 3x

we need to put em together so just toss an equal sign between em

so now we have

-5x - 7y + 6 = -4 + 3x

no combine like terms

-8x - 7y + 6 = -4

-8x - 7y = -10

and thats the answer in standard form
