To find the slope, take two points from the table(in this example I'll use points (0,0) and (-2, 12)) and input them into the slope formula:

(0, 0) = (x1, y1)

(-2, 12) = (x2, y2)


(12-0)/(-2-0)

Simplify:

12 - 0 = 12

-2 - 0 = -2


(12)/(-2)=-(6)/(1)=-6

The slope of the function in the table is -6.
