Jack makes purple paint by mixing 12 tablespoons of red paint and 4 tablespoons of blue paint. Select the following statements that are true. *

A) 6:2 is equal to 12:4 so it’s TRUE, but you would get less paint.

B) is false 12 is not equal to 8 and 2 can’t be divided by 24 so therefore FALSE

C) False no it would make the color more blue then purple so therefore FALSE

D) is also FALSE 1:3 isn’t equal to 12:4 so therefore FALSE

It is answer A because 12 divided by 2 gives you 6, and 4 divided by 2 gives you 2 so it will be the same color
