PLZZZZZZ HELP!

Read this excerpt from "The Sandia Mountains."

The word sandia means “watermelon” in Spanish. The range received its name because of the deep reds, maroons, and pinks that make up its granite and limestone faces. These colors are especially striking at sunset. The westward face of the range is characterized by its rugged, sheer cliffs and large, rocky outgrowths. The eastward face slopes gradually and is covered in the green of pine and juniper trees.

How do the first three sentences in the excerpt develop a visual picture of the Sandia Mountains?

A)How the Sandia Mountains earned their name is explained.

B)The types of rock that make up the mountain range are described.

C)Sensory details that appeal to the reader's sight are included.

D)It is suggested that the best time to view the mountain range is at sunset.

I think the answer either might be C because it says "The deep reds, maroons, and pinks that make up its granite and limestone faces. These colors are especially striking at sunset. The westward face of the range is characterized by its rugged, sheer cliffs and large, rocky outgrowths. The eastward face slopes gradually and is covered in the green of pine and juniper trees."
