Why is iron deficiency and obesity often concerns during childhood?

Iron deficiency anemia is relatively common,among children and occurs when hemoglobin in the blood is less than the optimal level.Iron deficiency usually occurs for three main reasons.Poor diet,Children are at higher risk for iron deficiency because of their higher need for iron.

Answer:

Because iron deficiency occurs when a person has a poor diet or doesn't eat enough and obesity is also the outcome of a poor diet if a child is eating to much food and not enough exercise.

So basically they aren't eating right so the child isn't healthy and could lead to other problems like not able to heal even small things like a scratch very well with a poor diet.
