Last night, I called an Uber. When I opened the door, there were five $20 bills lying on the seat. Since there was no way of finding the person who left the money - and I figured the Uber driver would just keep the money for himself if I told him about it - I decided to keep half and donate the other half to charity. Was that the right thing to do? ​

The issue is moral issues. The person who found the 20 dollars should have told the Uber driver because it genuinely couldve been his. If the Uber was honest and it wasn't actually his then the person should have donayed ALL of the money to charity. This is because none of the money was theirs.
