Slaves would be the correct answer. Due to the fact of their domesticated rolls. They lacked that of the rights to own property and to pursue most careers. Women tied down to limited to no rights. They were viewed as nearly the same as slaves. See if they viewed themselves as workers than they would have the rights of men because only men could really work during these times.
