A rectangle has a length of x and a width of 3x3 + 9 − x2. Find the perimeter of the rectangle when the length is 6 feet. Please HELP :(

A rectangle as four sides, and as we know, two of the sides equal each other. I would first start by drawing a rectangle. On one length on the outside of the triangle, put x. On the opposite congruent length, put x again since we know the sides are the same. You should have two blank sides left. On both of those sides, put 3x3 + 9 - x2 (I am assuming that you meant x squared whenever you said x2. Let me know if I assumed incorrectly. Because the length is 6, we know that x must be six. Now substitute everything that says x with the number six. Use parenthesis so you don't confuse it with other numbers. (6.) Now add everything up. You should be adding 3x3 + 9 - (6)2+ 3x3 + 9 - (3)2 + 6 + 6. Your final answer should be 24.

Then again, because this question could of meant 2x rather than x^2, this could be completely wrong, so if you take a picture of the exact question I will be able to help you better. Also, I'm not sure if your 3x3 is an x or an multiplication sign.
