Justin and his children went into a bakery and where they sell cookies for $0.75 each and brownies for $1.25 each. Justin has $15 to spend and must buy no less than 12 cookies and brownies altogether. If Justin decided to buy 7 brownies, determine the maximum number of cookies that he could buy.

8 cookies
1.25*7=8.75
8.75-15.00=6.25
6.25/0.75=8.333333...
Since you can’t but .3333 cookies
The most they can get is 8
7+8=15 and it’s more than twelve
