Given that Polygon HIJK is similar to Polygon PQRS, their corresponding lengths are congruent, also, the the ratio of the sides of HIJK to the corresponding sides of PQRS would be the same.

Thus:


(HI)/(PQ) = (IJ)/(QR)

HI = 15

PQ = 5

IJ = x

QR = 6.5

Plug in the values


(15)/(5) = (x)/(6.5)


3 = (x)/(6.5)

Multiply both sides by 6.5


3*6.5 = x


19.5 = x

x = 19.5
