Answer: C. 4 1/2
Explanation: Since the recipe is tripled you multiply the 6 by 3 and you get 18. Since the answer is in gallons you have to convert. 4 quarts= 1 gallon. 18 divided by 4 is 4 with a remainder of 2. 2 is a half of 4 so the answer is 4 1/2
