Code Talker is a novel narrated by a man named Ned Begay, describing the story behind the metals he received during World War II. He grew up on a Navajo reservation and attended a boarding school ran by whites. Racism against the Navajo was obvious especially during his time at the school.

The theme of this book is to always be yourself and everyone is important.
