Select the correct answer.

Find the slope and the wintercept of the equation 4x + 5y=-9.
A slope = "4/5 and vintercept = `(9)/(5)
OB slope = '(4)/(5) and v-intercept = "9)/(5)
c. slope = '(4)/(5)' and y-intercept = \491(5)

Yo sup??

4x+5y=-9

y=(-4x)/5-9/5

we see that this is of the form y=mx+c

where m is the slope

therefore the slope of the line is -4/5

To find y intercept, put x=0

y=-4*0/5-9/5

y=-9/5

Therefore y intercept is -9/5

Hope this helps.
