Pressure exerted by the wooden cube = 2 Pa

Surface area of cube = 5 cm² = 0.0005 m²

Pressure is the force applied perpendicular to the surface of an object per unit area over which that force is distributed.

Formula of Pressure:

\boxed{ \bf{P = (F)/(A)}}

P → Pressure

F → Force

A → Surface Area

By substituting values in the formula, we get:

\rm \longrightarrow 2 = (F)/(0.0005) \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow F = 2 * 0.0005 \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow F = 0.001 \: N \\ \\ \rm \longrightarrow F = 1 \: mN

\therefore Force applied by the cube on the floor = 1 mN
